Jack Haley, Mark Madsen, Joe Klein, what a menacing frontcourt. Shades of Hakeem, Thorpe, and Horry there. Speaking of, I thought Cliff Robinson was just as Horry -like in his role if not more than Horry himself. Similar positions, size, role on team, overall career numbers. But Cliff Robinson had a better individual peak.
Bryant "Big Country" Reeves, not really because he was longest tenure but the fact that he was tenured at all makes it too damn long.
Just go to any of the 2K games and go to the centers' free agency. Two off the top of my head are Calvin Booth and Sean Marks.
The dude averaged 20 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 4.1 APG, a block and a steal per game in his best season. Also a one time all star.
I used to like the wolves' front court of Garnett and Gugliotta. If I remember correctly, Marbury was there too.
He can actually play if you put him in the likes of Booth, Foyle, Madsen, etc. He doesn't have the body and athleticism to play professionally.
Bo Outlaw. Played from '93/94-'07/08 and never averaged double digits in points or rebounds in a single season and had the worst shot in the history of the NBA. [/IMG]
I'm not saying he had a bad career or something , but looking at it : talent wise/years ... he should retire .
Here's a list of rejects that are active and lucky to be in the NBA: Jerome James, Mike James, Antoine Walker (currently FA), Trenton Hassel, Collins Brothers (Jason and Jarron), Jared Jeffries, Sebastian Telfair, Q Rich, Chris Mihm, Shelden Williams....and any bum from the Clippers. Should of never entered the NBA: Sam Bowie, Michael Olowokandi, Frederic Weis, Eddie Griffin, Marcus Fizer, Justin Reed, Pavel Podkolzin, Macej Lampe, Smush Trash Parker, Mark Blount, Travis Knight, Jim McIlvaine, Jon Koncak, Harold Miner, J.R. Reid, Bryce Drew, Mirsad Turkcan (picked by us, never played with us....what a waste), and the list goes on and on and on...............
And the winner is, envelope please Jon Koncak drafted #5 overall by the hawks, played eleven years 3,520 total points 4.5 per 2,474 fouls Drafted ahead of Chris Mullin, Detlef Shrempf, Karl Malone, Joe Dumars, A.C. Green , Terry Porter and Charles Oakley to name a few Also was given a bloated contract that was totally ridiculous
