Free agent guard Troy Daniels is finalizing a three-year, $10M deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources told The Vertical.

Sources: Memphis will acquire Daniels, a restricted free agent, in a sign and trade deal with Charlotte.

I would love to see this kid succeed. Pure shooter as they come. If he learn to be a good defender he could catch on in the league as a 3 & D guy.

rep'd. Parsons and JBB likely put in a good word and Memphis needs the shooting.

Wish all the best for Cowboy Troy. Will definitely try to see some Rockets games in Memphis this year.

He wasn't a liability on defense.

Would love to know who the Hornets wanted to trade for.

Tarik Black is laughing his ass off at Troy.

And whoever the fork is the agent for Black, he should get 50% of his total income.

It doesn't matter who Memphis adds. They are injured prone. They are 5th, or 6th seed team.

Black is lucky he works for a clueless GM. They probably were bidding against themselves. If they didn't jump the gun on Mozgov and just waited they probably could've gotten him @ half or more off, but they felt they had to act after the rumors of Noah agreeing to terms with the Knicks came out so quickly.

Anderson and Gordon say thanks for the jinx.
