No comparison. Blatt had them at a great record.

Fiz is out cause of Mark Jackson reasons. This is the first basketball reason exposure, but rest assured he's a dumb activist .

It's not his fault. That team isn't very talented. I thought they'd be a bottom 5 team. They surprised me with their hot start.

Right, let the players decide who gets fired. Will help you big time to find a quality successor. Coaching Union notices stuff like that.

And how did that turn out? We didn't know, they do. Plus, Le$ went cheap and wouldn't want to pay a real replacement. One of the worst decisions in the last couple of years, cost us a whole season.

Grizzlies just gave up and tossed their season into the garbage can.

I assume the Fizdale/Marc relationship was irreconcilable.

Well, the Grizzlies played 19 games, more than the 11 games McHale lasted in 2015.

I'm sick of LeBron trying to play trendsetter on Twitter all if the time. Nobody owes him answers on the internal decision making of a team he has nothing to do with.

The turn of events led D'Antoni straight to us. We were clamoring for Jeff Van Gundy.
Letting JB coach all season was horrible, but picking up another mediocre coach and running on that mediocrity treadmill is not something the Rockets should have done.

This would be great for OKC, terrible for the Rockets. Fizdale isn't elite, but Donovan seems incompetent when it comes to coaching offense.

Grizzlies just decided to tank I think. I don't buy that it's taking sides with Gasol - I think it was just the perfect excuse to start doing what a competent franchise would have done in the summer. It's time to rebuild Brooklyn-style. They need to use Conley's value to get some young players and picks. Trade Gasol for best package available (no veteran long-term contracts). Parsons' contract they're just gonna heave to eat during the rebuild: it would take TOO high a pick to dump that contract. Tank this season and next. You're back on track.

You know who would be a good coach for a tank job? David Fizdale lol

Meanwhile, Bickerstaff continues to chase the dream of leading the league in interim head coaching gigs.

I think all this GnG type coaches, like JVG, Thibbs, their style takes a toll on the players.

And then you see players like Ryan Anderson, EGord thriving after previous seasons of being injured, playing under MDA. Even his previous Suns teams, Nash had a good stretch of being injury free.

I don't understand why teams do this all around the world (not just basketball).

Coaches being blamed and taking the fall when circumstances are out of their control. Especially when key players are injured its just really unfair.
