    I would gladly give up Capela if that gets the Knicks to take on Anderson and give the Rockets Melo.

    Capela will be a free agent soon and there are a number of other free agent centers that would look good playing with the Rockets. Playing center with this Rockets team and coaching staff is one of the easiest jobs in the league. As long as your head isn't chopped off you will get 8-10 easy points and rebounds.

    If it came down to it, would you trade Capela for Carmelo?

    He's good but we can replace him with someone like bogut or javale McGee.

    Capela has a chance to be better than DeAndre. He's like 22. I really don't want to give him up.

    He's going to get paid $20m at least next year though. Ugh.

    Yea, they can trade their 2021st. It may sound funny being 4 years away, but it's a 1st. They'd likely put a lotto protection on it though.

    I think if they give up Capela, they will go after Tyson Chandler in Phoenix. That would honestly be the best replacement for Capela. I can see CP3 lobbing passes up to Chandler.

    If I'm the Knicks I wouldn't pick up the phone until either team offers a first rounder. Cleveland will likely be terrible in 4 years and with an aging CP3 and Carmelo as 2/3rds of Houston's core there's a solid chance we will be garbage then too.

    We'll wait then. This team is going to win 60. Let the Knicks sign those payslips month by month till it hurts.

    If Cleveland is going to give them Love, none of our assets can beat that. That would be out of our control anyway. If Cleveland is not going to offer Love, we will wait till the deadline. No need to rush this.

    Send a trainer and chef over to Melo's house from now, let's get him prepared lol

    Bogut will get injured in 2 seconds, and Nene already can't play back-to-backs

    McGee is not a Capela replacement, he's far worse than Capela is...he looked decent playing a small amount of minutes in GS, but he is not a starting caliber C at all

    You have to give up something to get. I think they'd be fine if they found a replacement for Capela. Of course Capela is tough to give up, but I think if you really want that 3rd star and there's another contender after him too, you have to make that trade.
