oh man, sorry to hear that happened to your pet. I was just making light of a random post in the thread. forgive my insensitivity.

Furthermore, I believe in the potato! he has eyes around the league (get it potato.. eyes) all others form a line! a buy-out would be best though.

If we're really trying to out gun and out variable the Warriors... seems to me it'd be best to keep Anderson and get Melo.

    CP3
    Gordon
    Harden
    Melo
    Anderson

FRankly the best offer to the knicks would be cap space right?

What's the best three teamed we can do to get the Knicks the most cap space relief plus picks?

I'd rather hang myself than seeing Anderson playing at 5

Ryno has got to go in any trade for Carmelo. Melo's salary is too high and we can't exceed the tax apron.

Sorry I didn't mean than was the starting lineup. Just a lineup that you might use. Where all 5 can hit from three legitimately. An all offense lineup basically. a

The bigger point was I hated Ryno in the playoffs and his contract but adding Melonto the current squad without losing much more is what will provide the most flexibility.

we have 4 left, hopefully Morey can snag a rotation piece by using them

it's gotta be Ryno in a trade not only because of his high salary, but because the Rockets shouldn't be giving up Gordon or Capela in a trade...that would be like taking a step forward and then taking 1 step back

    Gotcha.
    And agreed.
    Ryno first.
    But maybe Ariza second.
Because Melo is a SF/PF hybrid.

the only problem with Ariza is that he's making less than 8 mil while Melo is making 28 mil + has a 15% trade kicker...we can't exceed the tax apron so in order to take back 28+ mil in salary without giving up Ryno is a trade we might as well pass on...we could do Ryno + Ariza but the Knicks wouldn't want that and I wouldn't want to lose Ariza

it's Ryno or bust in a trade for me, or we wait and see if Melo gets bought out

Spud head is awfully quiet right now. Usually when things dry up it is calm before the storm.

i don't see any reason for the Knicks to buy Melo out, and i know that Dolan does not want to buy him out. Even though the fans want to move on, the org wants to get something for moving him, and i think the Knicks are willing to wait till the trade deadline to trade him. I don't think they want to do that, but i think they will do that if they don't feel they are getting anywhere near fair value with the offers they have right now. At least...that's what i would do.
