Warriors already rejected 2 first-round pick offer from Timberwolves last night. They are not going to unload D'Angelo Russell for picks and/or expiring contracts. They want star power in return. That's why they made this trade with Brooklyn for Durant in the first place. Now, Wiggins is the only star-potential piece Timberwolves have to offer. That's it. Either way the Rockets are not needed in this deal. These two teams can hash out a deal a bunch of different ways. Russell for... Wiggins, + picks Covington, Crabbe, + picks Covington, Dieng, + picks There is absolutely no need to involve the Rockets who have no assets to begin with. Bottom line: this is all wishful thinking by Clutchfans.
With Collins and Covington for Capela (I know I’m dreaming a bit) we’d be in great shape for a run this year.
As much as I hate to say it, this is not good for the rest of the NBA... Wiggins is starting to get it. Huge upside, the ability to play a big role there as is,and the contract becomes a trade facilitator.

Wow! Lakers about to get Marcus Morris for Kuzma/Bradley/Cousins/Daniels. They also have a commitment from Darren Collison. Trade will be announced tomorrow. Going to be interesting how this affects the other contenders in the West. Lakers were already the best team record wise, now they get a upgrade in Morris off the bench. And a quality pg like Collison is better than anything they have a pg already. They will be a problem come playoffs.
