Did you watch now we have had one of the top offenses all year despite injury and inconsistent lineups ? Now you guys decide we can't score with WB and Clint ? What? Where do y'all get this non sense ? Our starting 5 had one of the highest net ratings in the league in the league until that 5 day layoff where still no one knows what happened. But to say this is about WB and Clint is still ridiculous to me. This is about tax savings and don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise
If we do get RoCo, there will be a secondary move for a big that is at least somewhat playable. It might not come in the same deal, but it will come if they agree to move Clint. MDA might be sold on 100% small ball, but I don't think Morey really is.
he certainly hasn't watched harden struggle for what the past month. Anybody who thinks the type of defenses harden has seen this year is ok has not been watchin. dude is seeing anything from traps all game to different zone focused coverages because he gets that much attention
this aligns with what I'm hearing, the Rockets are looking to be aggressive about improving the team and/or it's salary outlook...IF there's a deal to be had.
If you don't think we need AT LEAST 3 capable shooters around Harden when he is in the game, we will simply never agree on how to build a basketball team in 2020.
Rockets need to shake things up and put RoCo trade on back burner. Target player who will complement what team does well on offense and defense. RoCo basically does what Tucker does, space floor and lock down best player. Right now, House is Houston's best screener and diver if Clint traded. That is ridiculous for a 6'6 guy with 6'8 wingspan. Shift ATL deal to ORL instead. ORL needs more offense/scoring. ATL: Capela, House ORL: Turner, Huerter, ATL 1st rounder HOU: AG Sign Nogueira (7'0 with 7'7 wingspan) to play 15 mins/game and trade SRP + cash for 6'10 Jonah Bolden (7'3 wingspan). Save our FRP for another trade, e.g. Sun's Mikal Bridges. Or for RoCo once Minny comes to their senses. PG: Russ, Rivers SG: Harden, EGo SF: Tucker, McLemore, Thabo PF: AG, Bolden C: Nogueira, Harty, Tyson Still buyout opportunities as well like Marvin Williams, Bruno Caboclo, etc.
