We just need to pray Kawhi goes back to Toronto and we sign a wing and a big with what we have left.

    Austin is a good dude.

Faried won't be that easy, heard he wasn't happy with coaching staff.

DocRocket tweeted then deleted "just announce the trade already: capela/gordon for hayward/yabusele/1st"

I didn't get to screenshot it before it was deleted. Maybe @cyberx @ch44 @Codman can confirm?

I assume bringing back rivers, and maybe using the remaining $5.7 on a center like looney would open the door for this trade. not sure how I feel about it unless its the memphis pick. of course doc used to be a lot more active of an insider, so i take it with a grain of salt.

He's not bad.... he's just inconsistent as hell. He gave us a really good month or 2 and then just went quiet in the last 2 months.

If he can put some in good minutes, we'll be in good shape. And we don't have the money for much better.

Dude took less money than House...he's now my new hero.

Also, is this possibly the best contract signed so far in this free agency?

Hayward? In what world is Hayward for Gordon and Capela a good trade? I dont like that deal.

I'm happy for the team but my overall stance is that nba players can and should get paid as much as they can.

We don't just "run it back" here in Houston, that is not what we do. Well, unless we can't Butler...then it's "Run it back, Again!"

The weirdest part about that is that the coaches' kids always seem to be the best FT shooters because they'd had fundamentals drilled into them their entire lives.

That said, last summer I hated Rivers. Then I gritted my teeth when we signed him. Then I grew to like his effort and his apparent new maturity.

Now he does us a solid by signing at the vet min? Really?

Am I dreaming? Is it possible that Austin Rivers is becoming one of my favorite Rockets?

He is only that happy because his Dad can't ground him anymore for missing open shots.

I would do this trade if we are sure we are signing Looney. Hayward is going to get most improved player next year. He will be back to his norm.

Yeah, I saw it too.. Not sure if it's worth it or not (depending on looney obviously).

Whatever rockets do with remaining exceptions, definitely hoping for Shumpert, 1 year $10-15M. Not only good for trade fodder, but actual action confirming the owner isn't cheap and is willing to spend like he says he is.
