I've said it before and I'll say it again.. Nobody we get in the top 10 is going to guarantee us as Finals Contenders...

Trade the Pick with some players for somebody proven.... We have a better chance that way of making it deep in the play-offs .... Remember Yao and Tracy have only 4 years left of peak performances... Thats if they stay healthy and T-macs back is 80 percent ok :(

3rd legitmate scorer who can attack the basket and shoot the mid-range or 3 consistently?? Dont see it in this draft....

exactly what I'm saying. The italian is a project, Gay & Roy are inconsistant, Sheldan Williams and Larmarcus Aldridge are under sized center, Thomas might be Stro Swift ver. 2.0. Reddick and Morrison are slow defensive liablities.
BRING IN A VET THAT CAN PLAY

It is a truely sad draft but draft picks have the benefit of minimal impact on the cap and young healthy bodies. Veterans are expensive and spend a lot of time on the training table. Not to mention most quality vets get picked up by their own team and only the ones with issues move around. If we would like to be competitive for the long term we need good drafts. The Knicks are the poster child for trading picks and getting veterans year after year.
