Will the Texans ever change their Uniform/Logo combination?

    Since these threads are taking place in the Rockets board section, it just makes sense to ask that in regards to Uncle McNair's Texans..

    We all know that the Astros are going to go back to the retro look somewhat starting next year with new uniforms and new logo etc...should be fun.

    I want them to adopt red as a primary color.

    Other than that, my concerns are minimal.

    I've always wished they had a logo that incorporated the state of Texas in it.

    I think it would be a huge step forward in the identity of the team to use the Texas state outline. That is one of the most recognizable shapes in... hell, damn near the entire world. The bull is a perfect secondary/accent logo, IMO.

    Agreed. I love the blue helmet, red jersey look. Would prefer all white on the road, though.

    I hope not. One of our teams should have some consistency. The Texans logo has a classic yet modern look to it. It shouldn't start to show age for a long, long time.

    Regarding the Astros, have they said anything about going retro? I'm pretty sure they haven't given any details regarding the new logo/unis. The rest has just been fan speculation.

    Just leave it the way it is. I get so tired of teams changing their uniforms every 5 years. Where's the tradition?

    Agree that the logo posted is ugly. Agree that teams shouldn't change their uniforms so much.

    Also hate the Texans name and logo, but love the uniform color combinations.

    my only concern right now is that the new NIKE uniforms will make every team in the NFL look like a college team (especially seattle's)
