I hope not, I'd prefer Iggy and Dal over butler and haywood.

This is being talked in the Philly thread but Amar'e will stop the trade imo. He might have already. And Philly reportedly wants more besides Stoudemire.

If they think Amare is not enough for Iggy+Dal then we have no chance to take them for just T-Mac.

Maybe, maybe not!? Key is Stoudemire. Sounds like he heard the rumors of him being shipped to Philly and now told management, "Well maybe I'll opt in instead after all." Doubtful, as I think he just doesn't want to go to Philly, and will opt out with Phoenix. JMO

    Correct.

There is still a lot of denial by some members on the board. They feel that McGrady's expiring contract will be enough. The Sixers want talent as well.

They want talent, that's why we will include Brian Cook!

You know if I was Philly I'd still do the deal because worst case he comes off your books after 10-11 and if Barbosa is included he is the same. Problem now is Amare blocking the deal, Rox need to get in on this stuff somehow and capitalize off this mess.

Edit - Didn't realize Barbosa had a player option for 11-12...makes things a bit scrambled.

This deal makes more sense from the Sixers standpoint than the Suns. Trading for Dalembert/Iggy doesn't shrink the Suns payroll nor does it really make them younger. If the Suns don't want to pay Amare, why would they pay for Iggy/Dalembert?

Unless Amare's trade value is literally in the dumps, I can't imagine the Suns can't get at least one offer that includes a few young, underpaid players + some reasonable contracts.

I could care less. If Dalembert is part of a deal I don't like it.

Well Amare is said to be picking up his option for next year, I doubt the 76ers would want to be paying him and I doubt Amare would agree to go to the 76ers and i doubt Amare stopping this deal from happening.

    Give up Dorsey and Andersen!!!

You can't just give up Grade A Talent like B-Cook...we better be getting a top 5 superstar in return
