Would love it. A clutch performer like Edwards shouldn’t be going as low as his pre-draft grade

Do we have money left to buy 2nd round picks? I seem to remember we spent some if not all our cash allowance when we tried to get rid of contracts last season.

We never really had top 10 picks with Morey. Lamb was key in getting 23 year old Harden here and Jones was a key player for us for a short time so they both lived up to their drafting positions. The only big misses were Royce White (be well) and Morris over Kwahi.

He's a gamble but I'd really like to see us get in there and draft Bol Bol.

Rox don’t want late first rounders on the books right now. We’d trade out to the 2nd round regardless.

Edwards really isn’t that great of an NBA prospect. He’s a 6’1 guard that shot 39% from the floor last season, and 36% from three. As a freshman, he shot 38% from the floor, and 34% from three. Also, he never had a season in college where he averaged more than 3 assists per game. So, you have an undersized shooting guard that shot below-average percentages in two of his three collegiate seasons.

i hear you, but having a losing record isn't the only way to get lotto picks. you can trade for picks. Morey has accumulated picks through trade. but he never uses the picks to draft players. he trades the picks for players.

This is one of two days a year I use Tweetdeck. I feel like if you use this tool more than that your job is literally twitter. Pretty useful for draft night though.

Unless you are a rocket only fan and the draft is meaningless.

    Not serious.

Google it. Super useful on draft night (next year when the Rockets HOPEFULLY have a draft pick)

Statistics matter to me more in the top ten. Beyond that the draft has proven it really is a crap shoot so I’m looking for intangibles, in Edwards’ case, someone who stepped up their game when it counted the most under pressure

You crazy man, Bol Bol is a sure thing to me. He is going to be one of the top 5 or 6 players in this draft, potentially top 3.
