Bill Pollian said on ESPN it could be depending on what the league decides or something like that.

Something about selling draft picks if Osweiler is flat out released by the Browns.

Damn it, just be cool Browns and keep him on the roster. Your team is not going to make any great use of that roster spot anyways, SMH.

Seems above board to me. Idk how them releasing Brock in a separate transaction later should affect this one...

Browns will just keep him around for training camp QB "competition" and cut him a couple days in.

Is there a rule about this? Just because the Texans and Browns did it first doesn't make it illegal.

Say what?? If the Browns release him in a separate transaction, why is it an issue?? That's ridiculous.

Any rules that could have been violated?? If not..NO. Goodell would forever be hated here in Houston.

You're not allowed to buy or sell draft picks. If that's what they are essentially doing just using an artificial workaround, then the league could use the commish's discretion to prevent it. If the league can't do that, all the rules are worthless - anyone would just split transactions however they want to get around the rules.

Browns' GM basically said they're keeping Brock around to compete for QB job, we should be good.

    Unless BJ is Brock's agent,

    I heard similar to this.

Does NFL need player(s) to pass a physical?

Actually...a team can waive the physical requirement.
