Gray looked pretty bad in Game 1, and C.C. looked decently good in Game 2. I'm sure Gray will be available out of the pen, but I'm not sure how much they trust him. One thing is for sure, Gray has looked the worst out of their starting rotation so far. Severino and Tanaka absolutely shut Cleveland down the last 2 games.
Yeah, he underperformed down the stretch -- 4.58 ERA in Sept. Then sucked even harder his first playoff appearance.
Safe to say, "Edwin was a huge loss, and NYY performed well overall." Safe to say, "Gerardi is the happiness man alive after that boneheaded non-challenge." Safe to say, "CLE mainly killed Verlander recently, so glad NYY hasn't."
Indian fans were getting super obnoxious during that win streak to the point they were becoming like Yankee fans - like their team was entitled to win. Baseball gods say hello. If Astros play like they’re capable then I like our chances. I think Correa will have a big series.
Tanaka looked the best ive seen him all year. He worries me some...and C.C. looks like hes found his stuff (still hittable imo)
I mean I remember feeling that way when the Rockets were ripping off 22 straight. Just got comical at a certain point.
Baseball, the postseason is simply never a sure thing regardless of how well you are going. I was too young to appreciate it at the time, but what the Yankees did from 96-01 is absolutely astounding.
What makes you say that their fans were getting obnoxious? Were you in Cleveland at any point over the last 2-3 months?
Hey Cleveland. It is called ejacutrol. May want to apply it next time. You didn't even make it to the ALCS bed.
They were bound to hit a 2 or 3 game losing streak. Unfortunately for them, come playoff time, that can end your season
Closet - no. I have no problem saying that after the Astros, I root for the Indians with Cleveland being my 2nd home. With that being said - you didnt answer my question...
