Rookie wall is closely tied to new scouting reports coming out based on a more sizable/significant sample size. Those reports contain the biggest current weaknesses in the rookies game. It's not a random phenomenon and it's difficult to avoid unless you can adjust on the fly and have multiple counter-moves in your arsenal. I'm not saying Luka will definitely experience it, but it's likely since he's the first option on his team. The obvious target to concentrate on for the scouts of the opposing teams.

Well his two main weaknesses are defense and long, quick defenders. But he has so many offensive weapons he can always find one that works. Against Lakers, Ingram really bothered him and he went for abysmal 2-13, but he filled the box score in other ways (6 reb / 5 assists / 3 steals / 2 blocks). He wasn't the onyl reason they lost of course.

If he wants to keep a good FG%, he will have to mind his shot selection. It also depends by what defenses give him. I think that will be his rookie wall. I hope he won't have much difficulty getting over it.

They will still put Paul George in the PF spot before they give it to Luka Doncic. You can forget it about it it ain't happening since KD and LBJ have locked up the SF spot.

Very strange this year. I can't seem to find a webpage with the annual Allstar vote.
