Blowing 26 point leads does not happen "pretty frequently" in the NBA. In fact, it's so infrequent that what happened Saturday (two teams blowing 25+ point leads on the same night) hasn't happened in like 30 years.
Maybe not 26 point but 16-18 points happen all the time. The average biggest lead for the bucks is 19 points per game. Its not like they are winning all their games.
So much negativity . . . because people are spoiled as ****! They are consumers, not supporters. A supporter says "Our guys are great! We got this!" A consumer says "I want more X on my Y!" And a consumer says "James Harden is so good it makes me cry! From anger and injustice. . . ." "If we didn't have such a good player, I wouldn't be so pissed right now!" "WHY do I only have JAMES HARDEN and CHRIS PAUL on my favorite team?!?!?! Dammit! Life is so cruel!"
The fans are spoiled? The ones who spend 10% of their bimonthly salary to attend a game or buy their gear...not the people with 30 million dollar contracts . Get the **** out of here.
The Bucks are winning more of their games than anyone else in the NBA. Yes, 16-18 points happens regularly. 26 is ridiculous.
You keep on licking the nutsacks of people who make 200 times more money than you without demanding sustained success.
Spare us your gay fantasies. You spend 10% of your salary on guys you think are spoiled millionaires. Not smart. But you think your other ideas are smart. . . .
You're really into male genital imagery. . . . I expect the GARM to be full of people who enjoy the Rockets. Stop wasting 10% of your salary.
So you think enjoying the Rockets is mutually exclusive from discussing game action and roster moves?
Blowing those leads will not happen when you have better rebounding on the floor. Once Capela and House get back, the Rockets will start getting more stops and pushing leads out to double digits pretty frequently.
As long as they don't keep switching Capella to the perimeter which I'm afraid they are going to do a lot of.
My post that you responded to makes it quite clear: "fans" who are crying angry tears now during Harden's historic season are mere consumers, not supporters of the team. The p***y-ass consumer-"fans" are crying "I want more, Daddy!!!! Me no happy!" And "Being a Rockets fan sucks!" Grow a brain and stop doing what makes you unhappy. Quit blowing 10% of your salary on "spoiled millionaires" and maybe you will quit crying here so much.
Switching Capela is fine. The team just needs to gang rebound better. There is a reason that the team played better on the court with House. He was athletic, boxed out, prevented penetration and rebounded. The Rockets miss Ariza right now. House provided that stability that they needed. House is the closest replica in regards to length and ability to hit the three.
Ok, I agree with you about gang rebounding. But look, when the house was here we were still bottom ranked in rebounding %. House is nice, but I think expectations of him are a little too high.
There was a 5 game stretch in which the Rockets won all those games where the numbers were reflecting what the Rockets did last year. They will be fine. They are starting to put out last years product on the basketball court.
Consistent defense/ rebounding is what they are missing the most. Chris and Eric were very dangerous last season. They are having mediocre seasons now. Unless there is a major improvement, we won't be a scary contender. Capela will help, but he is not Embiid. GS is deeper with Cousins.
