Why not stop pretending and just move Harden to PG?

He handles the ball the majority of the time. He brings it up court. So why not? Put Ariza at 2. Put Brewer at 3 for his size and hustle.

I know there are some who would say, "Well he can't guard PGs on the defensive end." But would that really be a problem? I mean, he's not doing a great job guarding SGs or SFs either so I don't see the Rockets really losing anything more on defense.

But on offense they would be dictating matchups. Most PGs would get severely out muscled by Harden, especially if he went to the post. If the opposing PG was moved to guard Ariza or Brewer maybe the team could take advantage of their size with cuts to the basket.

I really hope the new coach is open to exploring more of these options. I'm definitely in favor of being more proactive instead of just reacting to what other teams are doing.
