Kaepernick is a 29yr old QB who has been to a Super Bowl and a NFC Championship Game. He has NFL experience and he's proven he can stay healthy.

When he's had talent around him, he's proven he can win! Last yr, everyone can agree he was surrounded by lesser talent, however his numbers were still better than any Texan's quaterback.

Savage has been given his chance. Part of being a starter in the NFL, is being able to START. I can not have faith in anybody who when given a chance, he's constantly got hurt or didn't perform. And for those Texan fans waiting for 610 and 790 to drop word that Romo has been released, you're in for more of the same.....DISAPPOINTMENT.

Remember; CARR, SCHAUB, FITZ, HOYER AND BROCK?? Now you are clammering for Rick Smith to bring in a 37yr old QB who has had surgeries on almost every movable part of his body. Remember, he was out 8 games after getting hurt in a Pre-season game last year where he was running and didn't even get hit.....COME ON TEXAN FANS, ENOUGH!!!

Sure Karpernick, kneeled down doing the National Anthem, sure he has his political views but many of us differ on our Religous and Political views. But at no time did he rob anyone, hurt anyone not commit a crime.....HE JUST THOUGHT DIFFERENT THAN THE NEXT PERSON.

So, we are down to Savage, Romo and a draft choice to start the 2017 season....So, I ask you, why NOT KAEPERNICK?

In before the predictable BTG rant about how he's really a RB.

Because he's not good at football and because he'd be a distraction.

Fitzpatrick --> Hoyer --> Osweiler --> Kaepernick?

Just when you thought "It can't get any worse than this."

Please Rick Smith, get a QB before we get to threads about trading for Case Keenum.

No more than will be at Joe Nixon's first game and I'm sure if you ask any woman would she rather have a relationship with an ABUSER or a PROTESTOR, I'm sure she'll choose the Protestor every time

The options that are more viable than Kap?

    1. Doing nothing at all and sticking with Savage
    2. Drafting some random kid and throwing him to the wolves.
    3. Picking up Tony Romo.
    4. Trading for Case Keenum.
    5. Picking up Ryan Fitzpatrick.
    6. Picking up Tim Tebow after he's done with that baseball nonsense.
    7. Convincing Peyton Manning to attempt a comeback.
    8. Convincing Brett Favre to attempt a comeback.
    9. Convincing Warren Moon to attempt a comeback.
    10. Having JJ Watt play QB.
    11. Having Brian Cushing play QB.
    12. Having Shane Lechler play QB
    13. Having Rick Smith play QB.
14 Having Bob McNair Play QB
    15. Picking up Vince Young.

Now, most of these options are terrible but all of them are better than going with Kap.

    17. Convince Sage Rosenfels to attempt a comeback.
    18. Sign BJ Daniels off the street again

We've listed 19 more viable options than Kap....weren't you paying attention?

You can't suck at football AND be a distraction. You can be one or the other and get away with it, Kap is both.
