why is women's olympic basketball on network tv but mens is not...

    seriously, not everyone has nbc sports network and I was not able to see any of the mens basketball games....

    but I turn on NBC and they are broadcasting women's basketball...makes no sense to me

    I think it has to do with the timing of the games. Team USA usually plays around 4 PM local time here, and NBC can't cover it on there because of local news and national news. I'm pretty sure the gold medal game will be on NBC though.

    if they allowed bball women to wear volleyball outfits, there's no way the WNBA would tank. those long bball shorts just scream dyke.

    my guess? it promotes the NBA and they don't have the NBA on NBC, but then again, they did show every Mens bball game on NBC live in 2008, so who knows.....

    Women have far better fundamentals compared to men when it comes to basketball. Everybody knows that. This is basic stuff here bro.

    There are a lot of women's sports I enjoy watching -- tennis, volleyball, diving, gymnastics, etc. -- women's basketball is not on that list.

    Doubt it. NBC shows a ton of Ryan Lochte, who is turning all of our daughters into sluts.

    NBC caters to the females. It's why they show nearly every male swim event and female gymanistics event. Yet fail to show live less than 10 seconds of sprinting.
