    Isn't he still available? Why didn't Les jump at the opportunity? I thought he was a great coach... is he not?

    Rockets are still paying McHale's contract. It is very tough to fire the entire coaching staff and bring in new coaches / system during the middle of the season. JB will be evaluated in the Summer & most likely not get it.

    there was an article about how he would probably be looking to sit out this season... on an optimistic note, maybe thats WHY JB got the job for the balance of the year...
