Almost every possession Harden has the ball he takes FOREVER to make a move allowing the defense to decide to double. He sucks life out of the offense when he does that. He needs to learn how to make QUICK moves.

Harden plays patiently. It's who he. This isn't anything new.

Ya, and it absolutely kills offensive momentum. He needs to learn to make the quick move

He's watching everything unfold to make a play.

Puh-lease. That's our offense, if you can't make a play before the defense sets up then go to half court sets. Golden State is just getting back on defense.

And it's the reason why we have epic offensive droughts.

Saying "it's our offense" isn't a valid reason on why his wave the ball around for 15 seconds possessions are any good.

If I told you what Harden was doing last night, you wouldn't care much about him right now or how he's playing...... (Reliable Source, I won't say anything from here but just know if this ever comes out, I'll come back to this post)

He makes plenty of "quick moves". There are other times where he doesn't. Pretty standard.

he's gotta play off the move more and make the opponent switch and recover instead of ballstopping so often

give him more offball action and more screens

I think that's the next evolution of our offense. after we get a competent pg

Dribbling the ball for 20 seconds does nothing productive, OP is so right. Anyone who disagrees probably has zero basketball experience.

He isn't even dribbling. He just literally STANDS for 10-15 seconds and finally the defense is like "might as well double him".

    ..... which leaves a teammate open. ;)

The proof is in the pudding in our offensive stats, not your observations.

I would rather Harden make a quick move one on one verses the opponent leaving someone like Josh Smith or Brewer open for their ****ty low percentage 3.

He needs to make a move around 6 to 8 seconds left. Not 3 or 4 seconds left.
