Trade the 9th pick to Orlando for Maggette. That solves all the problems at the SF spot. He is the perfect player for us, he beats the hell out of Miller and Miles. If Orlando would take that straight up I would definately go for it! --Rocketman ------------------
Hmm lets see. orlando trades for yet another lottery pick they dont need or want for a player who has tons of athleticism and could be a future star. hmm houston trades the #9 pick that could be used for trading bait to get an excellent player, or get a player like moiso, miller, or miles that could help us for an unproven raw athlete who might not turn out as well as miller miles or moiso, and which the later 2 are just as good athletes. hmm sorry dont think so. ------------------ --TEX [This message has been edited by TeXaSalsa (edited May 28, 2000).]
Rumors are that Orlando wants more Lotter Picks so it can package them for the Number 1. I think it would be a great transaction. People have too much trust in the draft these days...... Chris Mihm as an example. --Rocketman ------------------
Yeah, but how much good does it do you if you're giving up your existing good-to-great talents and draft picks so you can get the #1? Especially in a draft with no superstar/elite calibre player (at least at this point). ------------------ Want to participate in a mock draft on the BBS? Click here.
I think I will pass on Maggot. Bust ------------------ "We need to fockass".....Dream back in the day
Its kinda similar how we traded Othella and Dickerson to Vancouver for an unproven player in Francis. Actually I think my argument here is shot, besides I like Stromile more and more each day. What I especially like about him is that his major is Sports Medicine, and I love smart basketball players. He loves Houston like I do, for him to play here would be awesome! Go for swift! --Rocketman ------------------
