Why are we missing layups ?

Execution was a sore spot in G1 . Most notably Luc blew 3 wide open chances .

    We converted in game two

Tonight we were even worse than in G1 with everyone missing gimmes .

Why ? Is the warriors defense not getting enough credit ? Are we getting hacked with no call ?

I can understand the pace argument and ball movement discussion ... role players being more comfortable etc ... but I mean no matter what , you should be able to hit a layup .

To me , more than anything else this execution is the key in the series . Shooting by both teams is gonna be variable and if curry goes nuclear and you can make shots you just have to tip your cap .... but layups man ??

Can anyone explain wtf is going on ?

My final note . I think it goes back to what harden was saying after game 1 . Further than that ... we've just got to have confidence. It's easy to get frustrated over in oracle when **** starts snowballing . GS is a bunch of cocky little ***** ... and they get in your face and draymond is allowed to judo toss you . It's easy to lose your cool and your poise .

Make no mistake we have to overcome a lot . The refs included . Let's hope we bring the whoop ass in G4 ... aka "the force"

    1. They did not have any practice for past 4 days.

    2. They went to strip club.

    3. They have eyes problem.

You probably say that in jest ... but

    1) some people here believe 1&2

    2) I haven't heard a better explanation.

Look . I'm an untalthetic 5'7" Jewish dude ... so I can't talk . But how the **** are we missing so many layups !?!?

The good news: We shot 50% from 3.

The bad news: That's 3 feet.

Really starting to believe #2 (or some variant—into the late hours) is the reason. Several players with no legs and low energy...

I keep thinking of Charles Smith of the Knicks circa 1993, but things were a wee bit more intense back in the day...

Just jitters and stage fright, I am guessing. The size of the moment.

Because we started overcompensating for contact on drives, we knew we wouldn't get a foul call.

The ball got scared for the Rockets because Curry said, "Not in my #$#$king house."

Cp missed like 6 easy bunnies and James had 3 or 4 . Once you’re leaders set a bad tone it trickles down

They dunked and have better finishers. We didn't get squared in front of anyone on the drives, giving them angles and forcing guys under the rim on the drive making out easier for an off the glass finish. I saw a lot of poor angles in the first half.
