    How quickly did the focus move away from Woodward's book? Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but that seemed to go away as news pretty quickly.

    While she seemed one of the sharper people in trump's cabinet I think the way she handled the border children fiasco was reprehensible and as such, happy to see her gone. Hope all these trump cabinet people carry the stain for the rest of their careers.

    Probably more newsworthy... not nielson being fored (and likely the cowardly trump has kelly do the deed), but he ALMOST visits troops (but of course, cowrd trump would visit troops he sends to waste time at the south border, sitting around for asylum seekers thousands of miles away).

    Working in the White House is working in the White House. No matter who the occupant is, there is gravitas in being a cabinet member for the POTUS.

    Trump reportedly believed former Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen was too short to be reappointed to lead the Fed, according to current and former officials cited in a Washington Post report.

    Trump appointed Jerome Powell, a former member of the Fed's board of governors, to lead the Fed in November 2017.

    Now, Trump has soured on Powell, blaming the stock market's volatility and recent layoffs at General Motors on the rate hikes, which he described as "a mistake" and "crazy.",

    as if the Trump-induced trade tariff threats had never happen​

    "So far, I'm not even a little bit happy with my selection of [Powell]. Not even a little bit," Trump added.
