Thanks. My question to the Obama supporters here is. Why doesn't Obama phrase things more clearly so that a statement like the one below doesn't come off as playing the race card? 'He doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills It's a fair question. It's not like he doesn't know better with the comments his wife, pastors and himself have made that have haunted him.
my answer is how the **** should I know, i wish everyone would stop acting like every freakin action needs to be explained, i was not with obama just so you know when he said that when he thought or when he wrote it or whatever
If you saw the speech you would have seen that Obama was mocking the McCain campaign for trying to scare people. This is the same McCain who said he didn't know if Obama was a socialist or not.
Here's an answer: He's 46 years old, very young compared to the men featured on our currency. That won't satisfy you though. You might as well just have prefaced your "question" by adding the word rhetorical before it. You just started this thread to b**** and you know it.
It doesn't cut the mustard for the very reasons I wrote. Obama should know better than to make statements but he doesn't. He's too inexperienced for the job. Take away the teleprompter and he's screwed. Why don't you take you own advice and chill out?
oh yeah, he's too inexperienced because he said some statement about not looking like the guys on currency. oh man, not too mention the fact that mccain used to screw up who was shia and sunni, the real issue is not looking like some guy on the dollar bill. nice to see where your priorities are about what a candidate should be clear about.
What does this say for McCain? All these townhalls he keeps having, he keeps saying nonsense that disagrees with previous things he's said. Even his campaign spokespeople can't get on the same page as him at times. What does that say for him?

I think the reference is more about age - that is Obama doesn't look like an old man (on the dollar bills) and therefore he's not qualified....he's not old like McCain is. So in reality, it's McCain playing the race card.

You aren't as funny as TJ. Just follow him around, he has Colbert down. (Almost to a science, it is scary.) For a day I tried to act like Colbert, but it is really hard after a while. All I could use was the 'hates america' and 'not patriotic' card. After that, my well ran dry.
