Clint has so much hype lately he barely counts as 'unsung' PJ does so much on defense and hits some big shots for the Rockets Eric Gordon - This is my vote because the big shots are obvious but he also plays solid D. Not only this he can change the tempo and team's attitude in a game. He comes in the game and completely changes (for the positive) the way the team is playing. He also hits his FTs. If it wasn't for the fact that, like all shooters, has cold streaks, he would be the only option. Gerald Green - a hometown hero, has great energy off the bench. He can play D and has a valuable fire. He gets bonus points for me because he is completely unsung.
Tucker gets my vote for his unrelenting defense and rebounding, and any offense he contributes is just bonus. EG is a solid defender but is unreliable on offense. I'll throw in another candidate, Ariza always defends the best wing player on the opposing team and is truly the glue guy for the Rockets.
Ego is our spare scorer. Whether it's Chris or James getting an offnight, he knows he has to drive even if the play is garbage. Tuck gets my vote. He is just going to work. He's our prime rebounder with Clint out, not complaining about getting tired, and still there at the last minute.
Eric Gordon PJ Tucker Trevor Ariza In any order. They all do it night in night out esp Tuck and Ariza on D and never get the recognition they deserve
As much as I like Green & Clint ..... Tucker has to get my vote. He's a junkyard dog ..... Ariza gets an honorable mention for his defense on Durant.
They are all valuable to the Rockets. This isn't about slamming any of the guys. But I figured sometimes it's okay to make the hard decisions and choose a favorite. I definitely have no dislike or animosity towards any of those guys.
Definitely PJ Tucker and Ariza. Those guys are ignored because they rarely score more than 10 pts a game but they make the Rix defense solid. Tucker in particular has saved our season, imagine if we had Ryan freakinf Anderson out there our season would be over by now.
No answer is wrong but my vote goes to Eric Gordon for calling out James Harden after game one and then stepping up. Gordon is playing on both ends like we are supposed to win this series and that’s how it should be.
Fair enough. They also all have different roles to play on the team and each of those roles is valuable. All in all, we are lucky to have that many guys like this on the team.
Ariza. Tucker a close 2nd. Why is Ariza not in the poll smh. Show some respek, he got a vote for all-nba! I don't really count Gordon, he's borderline all-star/role player to me
