the thread title makes it seem you are asking the NBA.... anyway...... 1.kobe... 2.lebron... 3.wade... 4.paul peirce... 5.chris paul... what would be harder for people would be whos the best from 5-10
Who are the top 5 best players in the NBA? 1. Dwayne Wade (I don't think this is even close, when this guy is healthy, hell, just look at his numbers) 2. Chris Paul 3. LeBron James 4. Dwight Howard 5. Kobe Bryant (when it comes time for the playoffs, and you ask this again, I might move Kobe up to #2, but he has a lot of mileage on his legs)
I find it mind boggling how Dwight makes anybody's Top 5.. Anyways.. 1. Kobe/LeBron 2. LeBron/Kobe 3. Wade 4. Paul 5. Duncan
I can't believe Brandon Roy gets no love. Mine is: 1. Lebron James 2. Kobe Bryant 3. Dwyane Wade 4. Brandon Roy 5. Chris Paul for fun: 6. Carmelo Anthony 7. Kevin Durant 8. Paul Pierce 9. Dwight Howard 10. Al Jefferson
1. Kobe Bryant 2. LeBron James 3. Dwayne Wade 4. Chris Paul 5. Kevin Durant 6. Carmelo Anthony 7. Brandon Roy 8. Dwight Howard 9. Paul Pierce 10. Tim Duncan 11. Deron Williams 12. Dirk Nowitzki 13. Gilbert Arenas 14. Al Jefferson 15. Steve Nash
I didn't consider Yao because he's not healthy and, to be completely honest, I'm scared I'll never see a healthy Yao for any significant amount of time again. But were he healthy, I'd personally put him just ahead of Dwight Howard and Al Jefferson. I think him similar in that he can dominate a game in multiple ways, but come crunch time you can't count on him to carry your team. I'd give him the advantage over Howard and Jefferson due to his ability to shoot free throws though. That's a huge advantage in crunch time. As a side note, I was thinking about the rules we had during the Hakeem era - and later how Charles Barkley would use his big hindquarters to back in, back in, back in and finally make a move. Anybody else think Yao could have averaged 35 a game if we still had those rules?
I got this list off of ESPN's website. 1. Kobe Bryant 2. LeBron James 3. Brett Favre 4. Kobe Bryant 5. LeBron James
