Who is Sonny Watson?

    I pulled this out of the Kermit/Rudy thread thinking it deserved a life of it's own:

    Washington had been searching for a tryout for Sonny Watson, 25, a talent he had found, in an odd irony, while consulting last season in China.

    Tomjanovich, in Oakland to watch Yao Ming, not only consented to take a look at Watson, he insisted. After a long workout Thursday, Tomjanovich invited Watson to join Rockets training camp in October.

    The only info I found on him mentioned he was invited to 76ers camp once...nothing else.

    He was Yao's teammate in China. He's listed at 6'11"

    And he played at Dixie Junior College.

    Who is Sonny Watson, the player Kermit Washington spiffed to Rudy? Anyone know anything at all about him???

    PS for the same $, I take EG over Lewis. Let alone for Mo' money.
