    ???.. this guy will handicap any future moves to improve this team with that contract and in four years he and Harden will be making close 90 million by themselves..

    Cp3 =160 million
    Harden =230 million
    Capela =100 million
    McHale active contract= 40 million

    Rockets dont even make the playoffs and Tillman in great debt.

    Yes but the majority of the people here would be like Tilman needs to get 2 more max players.

    The real reason no one can beat the Warriors. $$$

    No other stars in the league want to take big paycuts to buy their rings.

    Cp3 has been bad. No excuses, it's MAJOR reason for this slow start.

    It is what it is. When Paul was acquired from the Clippers I'm sure promises were made in regard to his next contract. Well, the promises were kept and here we are. The Rockets came close to beating one of the greatest teams in NBA history last season. I'm sure Morey understood when he traded for Paul that the window to win a championship was very small. He understood that Paul's contract would look bad in those final years. But, he was ok with that for a chance to knock off the Warriors just one time.

    What will be interesting is how Morey proceeds once he realizes the window to win a championship has closed. Can Morey and Tilman stomach an actual rebuild.

    He should have taken a paycut if he really wanted to win, and I don't wanna hear that **** about him leading the player's union. If you wanna beat GS put your money where your mouth is.

    You realize we almost won a championship last year right?

    Anyways, if we want to move on, I say trade him to the Lakers. Team him up with LeBron for their last few years. Get Lonzo and picks in return.

    In Moreys defense I don’t think anyone saw such a major regression coming this early

    People were fooled into believing that that team could beat the Warriors every year.

    Let's just say the Warriors underwent a little identity crisis of their own last year before the playoffs and in the playoffs.

    Curry was injured halfway thru the season, was slowly working his way back into the team.

    Durant took on himself to propel the team, he could only ISO but he is not that good moving the ball around. He does not playmake the way Curry can.

    Curry had a slump against the Rockets, Klay was inconsistent in the first games against the Rockets. Draymond could not shoot his 3s in that series.

    Part of that had to do with our Defense but another good part was the Warriors were not close to 100% last year, they were vulnerable. Their D was on and off.

    We had our chance, CP3 got injured, everything went out of the window. Refs took over.

    If they could find a way to get Klay, Curry and Durant going in the same night, it's Game Over long ago.

    Add Boogie to it.

    I'd be shocked if Morey sticks around.
