ish smith? mike harris? a. johnson? then you got antonio anderson the big white dude eglseder. Do you think any of these guys can surprise and make an impact??

I think if alexander johnson makes the team he could give the rockets a athletic spark in the front court but he probably wont make it.

I really think Jermaine Taylor could come in and earn some time.

Teams don't play their 3rd point guard a lot unless they're REALLY injury-depleted (although with this team, you never know).

I don't think anyone else can fill a true Von Wafer role of someone who came from being the last guy on the bench to playing a major spark role in the rotation.

Chase Budinger and Jermaine Taylor are in his bench role right now as the off-the-bench instant offense. Chase is the better offensive player but Taylor is the better defensive player right now.

yea most likely nobody i named will stay on the team or get any playing time but every year it seems like a guy comes out of nowhere and plays alot of minutes and does good. von wafer was that and this past year chase budinger didnt. and every past year im pretty sure theres been a surprise player

Why do you want anybody to be Von Wafer? I'd rather see this year's Budinger.

Courtney Lee. But that'd mean like in the Wafer situation, the starting 2 guard would have to go down. Don't want that happening with Martin.

What did Von Wafer ever do other than get in trouble with the coach? I don't see why people are so hung up on the guy. He showed promise and then he fizzled out.

everyone who witnessed Von Wafer will think that it's a no-brainer that nobody from the same rank as him can do what he did while he was a Rocket...

i don't think anyone else at his socioeconomic class can provide the same intensity and performance as him.

Budinger doesn't even come close. if you asked me which of the two players in their primes i'd want, i wouldn't hesitate in calling out Von Wafer. Von Wafer has been one of the key reasons for the wins in that season. can you say the same for Bud?

OMG, enough about Von 'cry baby' Wafer. Unless he comes back on this team, no more threads about him!

Hopefully none of them. Von Wafer was a one-dimensional, knuckleheaded chemistry killer. Taylor and Lee are good character guys.
