    Poll coming up soon.

Thread title fail, replace 'was' with 'is'. The current big three hasn't played together yet.
We're talking about potential here, not what actually happened. So don't think about the injury-riddled big three of T-Mac-Yao-Artest, think of what they potentially could have done. Age stays the same though, so no Clyde and Barkley in their primes.

Even though they didn't win a ring (though the duo did), it's hard to beat 3 hall of famers.

BTW, congrats on creating the 80,000th GARM thread.

I think we should watch Dwight and Harden play together first before asking this question

Dwight hasn't even played a game with the Rockets yet. Give it some time.

Bullcrap. Hakeem, Clyde, and Chuck were definitely considered a Big 3 at the time. Even Dream, Chuck, and Pippen were pretty much considered a Big 3 even though all 3 were in decline.

I'm sorry. That's why I put the other category. Don't know much about the Rockets pre-90s.

This poll is WAY premature. There is no way to compare unless you are just guessing Dwight-Harden-Chandler/Jeremy.

Chandler/Lin - Harden - Howard doesn't belong to this conversation yet. Maybe after a full season together? Besides, this tandem is more of a Big 2 + Big role players unless Chandler or Lin can significantly boost their play next season. Both players does have some issues regarding consistency but the potential is there.
