I am pretty sure Josh Smith is AHEAD of Terence Jones in the PF depth chart. So he has that going for him!

I'd absolutely take Smooth back in a limited role as a s stretch 4-5. If he will agree to his role then it would be better than getting any scrub from the d-league or foreign no name who's name we can't pronounce

in the sense, that we're preparing for a carmelo trade that is going to happen...not that he would take all of anderson's minutes.

actually i didn't. hes always been a player that tried to do too much. but regardless nothings changed. bad decisions on the court, still bad shooter, and still can't shoot ft's. things that are coveted in this era of the league is why he isn't able to find a spot.

one game doesn't change that as good as that moment was. i mean if we showed a brewer moment does that change hes pretty bad at basketball. nope

if he can still play defense, rebound, and post up like he used to, i'll take him in a heartbeat. he needs to shoot spot up shots only as a last resort. especially in the playoffs, against the spurs, warriors, or whomever, if we're having trouble running our pick and rolls, he can be a play maker in the post. also, if he can guard griffen decently like he used to, and paul george, LA, etc. we can use him. as long as they tell him to give the ball up to Paul coming up the court, and only run set plays, and shoot 3's as a last resort? he needs to play on the low block, and shoot spot up mid ranges or 3's as a last resort.

You know cp3 will never forget lol. Wonder how that conversation went at the pick up game.

Jsmooth .."Hey harden remember that comeback in LA"

    Harden stays quiet.

    Cp3 interrupts ..."not funny"

pretty easy to say if he did this or that. thats been an issue his entire career. don't really see a need for him on this team and neither does any other team in the league.

I'd take Josh Smith back for a limited role.. specifically for his defense, able to rebound and defend other bigs and passing ability.

I think Josh Smith might have run out of talent like his pal Corey.

yea, well, he's old and without a job, so i think he can be told in advance that he'd be on a pretty tight leash, on a veteran's minimum. even if he can give us 10-15 minutes a night, that can be a difference between winning and losing a playoff series.
