    Mike will play Bruno.

He is his new Boris Diaw.

He can be our version of Paskal Siakam in this system. Or Luc Richard Mbah Moute playing against Rudy Gobert. Shooting 3s to stretch the floor.

MDA is not going to play him at all. Saying that makes it a win either way because I really liked his play the first time he was here and know he is rotation worth. MDA is very much his own man with his own thoughts so who knows. He can’t shoot from 3 (which a lot of people think) and that is key for our offensive minded coach.

I don’t care what his numbers look like this year. Bruno can shoot as evidenced by last season where he shot 37% from 3 on over 100 attempts. He needs to get in a rhythm, maybe he gets a chance maybe he doesn’t, but Bruno is the best shooting big man on this team and it’s not close.

Sure, he is the best shooting big we have but what is that really saying. Watching him on the Vipers his shot was missing... I saw his stat line from last year, too. Don’t act like you were not surprised and read it twice because it was hard to believe. I know you watched his development and 3 point shooting was lackluster at best. Can players change? absolutely. but probably not maintain.

I truly think he can be very good here. Not sure it happens but I’m rooting for him.

Edit: I don’t watch a ton of Gleague but he shot 43% from 3 last year at RGV. That’s on 158 attempts. He can shoot.

You need to re-check the game lines. 17-18 teams rotated 8-9 and CF wanted him to increase to 10-12.

Playoffs rotations shortened because Luc and Nene were injured while Iso Joe and Ryno became unplayable unless blowouts.

If MDA has the players, he will play them.

Lakers and Suns games not proof enough for you?

Let's just wait and see. Bruno should be back from knee injury after All Star.

I want nothing but the best for him and the Rockets. Was perplexed when he was cut but MDA didn’t play him then so what has changed?

The roster has changed, the league has changed and as a consequence how the Rockets will play has changed.

Golden State is not the issue anymore. The Rockets now have an elite wing defender and Capela is gone as well. In a short time a lot has changed.

Bruno physically fits the Rockets perfectly. He is the perfect height, with a stunning wing span, he is an elite athlete and can really run well. So he is work a look. He even started to hit 3’s last season.

The concerns are his effort consistency and his basketball instincts. Anyone counting on him to be a help is being overly optimistic BUT at least it is possible... we had too many guys that just were not fits or too limited.

Memphis used Bruno at the 3 and 4 last year. This year, they are playing Jae Crowder 29mpg. Bruno even lost the backup spot to Kyle Anderson before his bone bruise. These guys aren't cornerstones nor are they in Memphis' future plans. They simply outplayed Bruno. Morey traded for him so I have some hope, there was definitely opportunity in Memphis for him to get burn.

Bruno was here and Rockets tried to play him as a SF and let him go. He should have been playing center to begin with. He is the exact kind of Center MDA would play. MDA will play him.

he is in no way a 3 and Memphis knows this now, not quick enough to guard .3s in a non switching system. He was playing the 4/5 this year and as such his minutes have been eaten by JJJ, Jonas and Brandon Clarke. Expiring contract, wasn’t going to generate value bb with this in mind, as you can read they wanted a first when Houston tried last month to get him.

And yet MEM would not part with him unless they got a FRP in return.

Or a for a player like Bell when their backs to wall during trade deadline frenzy.

Hopefully he gets a chance. He's gonna make mistakes, but as long as he plays hard, he'll help.
