Where is the offense going to come from in Game 5?

    We've had 2 straight stinkers offensively in the last 2 games & we weren't great either in Game 1. Yesterday night was epic & I still can't sleep because I'm so hyped but there's no way we're repeating that sort of defensive performance again. Fatigue will be a huge factor obviously especially with our new 6.5 man & Golden State are the type of team where great defense sometimes doesn't matter.

    They've completely taken away the Harden/Capela P&R which is a huge part of our offense, Luc/Ryno who averaged a combined 17 PPG in the regular season are also unplayable in this series. That's a lot of offense we're now missing.

    What adjustments can MDA possibly make on the Thursday? Does a momentum series win come down to Tucker/Ariza/Gordon playing out of their skin yet again like in Game 2? Making plays off the dribble & hitting tough contested shots? Hopefully the whole "role players play better at home" saying proves true.

    Spain and PnR haven’t even been utilized. We still have untested weapons left.

    I feel a big game coming from Clint . Also I think harden break out of his 3 point slump . And a surprise contribution from one of green /Luc / or Ryan

    Luc should receive playing time given the fatigue factor...i hope he can give quality minutes .

    Just like hopefully game 2, moving the ball at faster pace and get better shots, nothing will change in terms of offense we are sticking with ISO but hopefully we can shoot better

    Said this before and ill say it again. In order to even have a shot at beating the Warriors we need Harden to get his normal 30+ and CP3 go for his normal 20+ in addition to Gordon getting 15+ and most importantly having at least 1 more of Ariza, Tucker or Green etc go for double digits as well and everyone else coming close. We didn’t get the 4th contributor offensively tonight but Tucker’s 16 rebounds was equal if not greater. Tonight’s victory was an anomaly and it feels so good cause a lot of our offense came from team defense and second chance opportunities while limiting their second chance opportunities. We did it the old fashion way with grit, grind and hustle.

    If we can come close to matching tonights defensive intensity level/effort and smart play in game 5 .... I’m confident it will lead to more scoring opportunities and the points will come by much easier.

    Pretty much this. Except I’m not expecting much from Clint and I’m not expecting Ryno to see the court.

    So basically it has to be one of Green or Luc.

    Also Gordon has to play better.

    @Asian Sensation makes good points.

    Furthermore, more importantly, we need to play inspired on defense consistently. We can beat anyone when we do that.

    At this point it is just a cat/dog fight - War of Attrition type of scenario.

    Honestly, this is my only remedy: eat well and sleep 10 hours a night.

    Do you still remember coach McHale? He's a champion. --- Rest well and "Let's play harder."
