I must've missed something. Why is he not playing? I thought he came back a few games ago?

he had a good game and then had a couple of terrible games.

He clearly has not fully recovered considering he had virtually no lift in the last two games so they just shut him down. He also might have re-aggravated some of his problems.

Anyway, he probably is done for the remainder of the year.

He looked like an old man out there, just no lift and no explosiveness at all.

I am not sure how much is due to the injury itself and how much is due to conditioning, but if it's the knee that's making him look like that, how freakin' sad it's to watch yet another potentially great player's career get decimated by injuries...it's happened far too often to far too many great talents :(

Doesn't look like Amare will ever be the same again....good for him that he signed that long term deal before this fiasco....anybody know how he got injured to begin with? was it just something that happened at some point during the season and they caught in the offseason or was it more specific?

They said it's not the knee this time. I guess he overworked his legs during his rehab after the talk with the Suns CEO.

It's a shame he didn't make a full recovery.........with him being such a nice guy and all.
