He was awesome on the court, he was great in the social scene, and he's one of the most down to earth people I know...there is a reason why he has a good reputation amongst Houstonians.
I never fell in love with Sura like you guys did, but man that team with him and Jon was fun as heyl. I've always thought that Sura would be the kinda guy who'd open a gym and just hang out there 24/7 after he retires.
i saw bobby sura at Sawyer Park bar a while back he said it hurt him just to stand there. anyways, watch bobby eat some balls: <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uxmsbtWCgxk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Dude made some good money in the NBA. Hope he doesn't blow it all gambling. Too many broke ex-NBA players out there and gambling has a lot to do with it. Guys like Jordan and Barkley can aford to lose 50 million to the casinos. Sura better protect his 15 million nest egg
He's not going broke, big time nit haha.. although in his defense, he's been getting straight rags so far. Surprised he's so quiet at the table though.
One of the times I made it to the finals of the Cuttino Mobley Clutch City Three Point Shootout (way back in the day), I got to shoot in front of the Rockets bench during the time-out. I made every single ball on the first rack and wound up getting third. Nevertheless, when I was draining the shots on the first rack I could only hear one person yelling to me. It was Bobby Sura. And he was yelling this -- "Go White Boy Go! It was weird.
He made almost 50 million in the NBA...and he's banking right now...he's far from blowing his money. He's a smart business man.
I know his aunt. I am really close with his aunt. I just cleaned out his grandmothers house not too long ago.
