    It's not the knee.
    It's not coaching.
    It's not confidence.

Jeremy Lin is what he is.
    Period.

The sooner that point is accepted the better off we all will be.

I had a meniscus tear in college and I was able to play after 4-5 months, but it took me up to 9 months to fully get my speed and jumping ability back. CP3 also had the same injury and it took him a full season to get back to normal. When ppl talk about his knee injury, they aren't saying he is injured. They are saying he does not have his speed and explosiveness back, and I'm assuming it's also throwing off his jumping ability which can throw off your shot slightly.

You really should use True shooting % which give more weight 3pt shoot and include FT. Take for example 35% from 3pt is respectable not horrible, but % does not take that into account.

    Lin TS = .462
    League average around .540
Last year Lin TS = 0.552

So yes he still stinking up using TS%, but better overall indicator on shooting performance.

Derrick Caracter was waived. Devin Ebanks is still on the team.

CP3 had his entire meniscus removed, not the same thing.

Blake Griffin had the same surgery as Lin, and has even had 15 less weeks to recover than Lin, yet Blake is flying around out there and producing.

The knee injury excuse is weak.

I agree with this, no excuses. Now shoot your way out of this funk that you are in, damn it, take 20 shots if you have to (as long as Rockets win, the coach won't mind).

I don't know which Jlin you're watching, but the Jeremy Lin on the Rockets I watch is overall getting better every game. He's doing everything well except scoring. Of course, if you're only looking at points and assists you won't be able to tell.

If his knee still bothering him, he should sit. Since he playing, I will assume his knee is ok, and no one should use his knee as an excuse for his poor shooting.

That's even weaker than the knee excuse.

He'shgot ice packs on his knee whenever he's on the bench so I guess his knee is not the same as what he had from birth!

Very true, let’s set our expectations. At point guard we will be average at best; if he has a few good games this season that will be a bonus for us. But Harden is who we should depend on going forward. Let’s not bash Lin so much that he loses any confidence he has left.

Morey will figure out a solution if Lin can’t get it right…hopefully

Why? Do all players recover from similar injury at exactly the same rate?

Everyone wants to see the same Lin from Linsanity era. He has been disappointing so far but it is still SSS.

Writing him off for the entire season based on 8-game stretch is premature.

I remember when people were saying this about Kyle Lowry & Dragic. You would think people would have learned by now.
