    Hahahaha

Notice how none of the white girls want to explain to the owner with the chainsaw that their potential looting and vandalization of his store is justified for helping black people face to face

Nothing more white privilege than these instagramming girls not realizing that Latin American neighborhoods support their own businesses and they work 10x more than these dumb liberal arts majors and that they do jobs these spoiled brats would never do

This was all about a week ago.

It's not getting worse so I'm not sure what you are doing.

The day after the shooting and arrests, there were peaceful demonstrations in that same neighborhood with black and latin people.

Now while they did spare the neighborhood from looting and that was a good thing. They did what police do and were indiscriminate with anyone black. That I don't agree with and neither did most of the residents.

I've been pretty outspoken about the looting elsewhere as I don't think it should be excused. I'm not of the belief it should just be allowed to burn itself out either. That said, the cops enforcing curfews are really not winning anyone over and is exactly why people are protesting. Either the media is not reporting on the violence anymore or it's gone down and protests are actually peaceful now so I'm not sure what these cops are doing or what you are defending.

For instance, the guy with the chainsaw was not defending anyone or any store from anything. All I saw was people with signs on a corner, yet you dopes are acting like he saved something.

I doubt many people know what's going in Chicago today, it said it happened 5 days ago.

He told people to get away from his store.

    Nothing wrong with that.

    What's wrong with a chainsaw?

What law were they breaking? What were they breaking and burning?

What's wrong with a chainsaw? Really?

I think you all saw some of the destructive stuff going on at the beginning of this unrest and are unable to see anything else but that.

As long as there's peace you have to show restraint.

I wasn't with looting and I'm not with chainsaws.

ok you made me look up what's currently going on in cicero.

    this was posted yesterday.
I guess it's more peaceful now.

I'm with the store owner and the chainsaw. He's kindly reminding people to get away from his store.

Chicago Man Accused of Killing Bystander During Looting in Cicero
Zion Haygood has been charged with first-degree murder
    Published June 5, 2020 • Updated on June 5, 2020 at 1:48 pm

A man is accused of killing an innocent bystander during a night of looting in west suburban Cicero over the weekend.

Zion Haygood was charged with first-degree murder for the alleged fatal shooting of 28-year-old Jose Gutierrez, according to Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

Haygood allegedly shot Gutierrez about 7 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of South 50th Avenue, Hanania said. He was taken into custody after a brief chase along with two other suspects, who have not yet been charged.

At the time of the shooting, Hanania said that the suspects were “looters who are not Cicero residents.” Haygood is from Chicago, Hanania later clarified.

An investigation found that Gutierrez had not been involved in any looting and was just a bystander when he was shot, Hanania said.

Another man, 27-year-old Victor Cazares Jr., was killed in a separate shooting that night near Super Espiga Grocery, 4920 West 14th St.

Sixty people had been taken into custody by the evening’s end, Cicero police said.

well chainsaw man was in Texas and got arrested

What should happen when you threaten people who weren't doing anything to you

never mind he was dropping N bombs with the hard R. Nice to know he's your type of guy.

that was wrong of him to say that

but i only said i was down with the chainsaw

    it's a unique deterrent

the gang member didn't speak like he was Mr Rogers either

That's why the topic is 'looting businesses in gangland terrority'

Also it's hard to know when a bunch of white kids go to your business not seeking to buy anything
    what their intentions are

If you are carrying a chainsaw for defense in Texas you're doing it wrong.

McAllen, TX is like 85% hispanic. I have doubts those were white liberals on the corner but rather brown ones. We don't all come in the same shade.

Also yes the gang member wasn't Mr Rogers but I'm also not exactly condoning him. They did some good but being indiscriminate with black people passing by is not cool. I'm glad the gangs got out of the spotlight and things were cooled down. Sad thing is, there are parallels between how the gang behaved and how police behave. To move forward as if there are no problems with the police is just not honest.

    I call a spade a spade.

How do you feel about the shooting of Daniel Shaver. An unarmed white man.

This isn't just a black people problem. These organizations need a new playbook and they shouldn't have complete immunity.

    It's terrible.

We definitely need to get back to some semblance of a civil society , right now everything looks like Old Detroit in Robocop.

Agreed. Can't bucket all Texas Latinos.
El Paso, Valley, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio etc everyone is different

Luckily Houston hasn't been as bad as the other parts of the country.
I think it's because Houstonians bond together because of natural disasters and the economic gap is not as bad as cities in California.
