I've been following the Rockets all year, and the past month or so James Harden just looks off. His shot has been off, he's not blowing by defenders, he's not finishing as well at the rim. I know he hurt his wrist, but he just looks slow out there. He looks like he's put on a lot of mass over the season, maybe that's why. Anyone have any insight?
this happens every season around this time..... that's what happens when he refuses to rest and all those 40 min games and back to backs are catching up to him. This is why he usually disappeared in the playoff, especially when the D pick up a notch. MDA needs to stop listening to Harden and just rest his tiring ass next and remaining reg season game.
No but seriously, he looks like he put on a lot of muscle mass. Maybe he should Yeah its really dumb, once we had the #3 seed locked up Pringles should of cut his time to 20 minutes a game at most Rockets did not play well against the Clippers, question know is do you sit Harden against Minnesota or let him play and give this team some momentum going into the playoffs. Only saying this because the thunder are on a roll.
I think his body language is telling. It all started when all the Westbrook MVP takeover talk grew massive a few weeks ago. His wrist got hurt and he tried to fight through it. I think he's done with the regular season. I think he was done a week ago and is just trying to see if he can get hot in games but when he can't he just mails it in and starts yelling at his teammates (mostly the young guys) about mistakes they make.
He is gassed. He was playing real hard for the MVP but with the WB talk gaining steam, it has totally drenched him physically and mentally. I mena he has jacked up so many ill advised 3's this past week at poor percentages. Just hope he figures it out for the OKC series
I think James is and has been too concerned about the MVP race. He's already finished second in the MVP race before and he realizes this is probably his best and last chance to win the award. I mean what are the chances he has another year like this one statistically later in his career? I wish he didn't give a damn about that MVP trophy but it's obvious to me he really really wants it bad and it's affected his play and decision making when it comes to taking care of his body and resting when need be.
Harden should train with Kobe this summer like Russ did. Maybe he can cut his body fat % to under Thomas Hamilton %
May be a little bit of lost legs, or resting for playoffs. In April (4 games), 64% of his field goal attempts have been 3pters (48 out of 75 fga).
There really should be a rule that new CFers can't start threads. Especially when they've only been fans for a year. They should have the equivalent of playing on the Vipers for a while before we let them start at the NBA level.
Bro I've been following clutch fans since early 2000 I just never cared to create an account till now Remember why are there no videos of tmac passing saga ...
