I am not sure why I titled this thread that way, but anyway...... How should we feel about the season's end? I hear moanings about tanking and how we REALLY should not be winning now, when it doesn't matter. But I think this is a sign of things to come. If you look at the team chemistry as it is now, our backcourt, Walt finally fitting into the system and playing HIS game, Cuttino and Stevie becoming so close, Shandon playing well and the young athletic roster we have, shouldn't we be happy? We have seen our Rockets play some very good, sound, and exciting basketball this season, and now it is becoming more consistent too. I think the key to next season is free agency, not the draft. It looks like our odds are slim of picking up a stud in the draft. We can get a promising player there, and pick up a good solid veteran in the offseason. Honestly, we could be a threat to make the playoffs. If we do, I am willing to bet there will be teams that fear us. I, for one, am excited about the possibilities of next season.
