Completely disagree. That trade doesn't guarantee the Rockets anything, especially championships. It certainly wasn't a guarantee that Dream, Clyde, & Jordan would mesh well together. We saw Ralph & Dream together and they led us to the brink of a championship. The problem was that Ralph, who I believe was ahead of his time from a skill standpoint, wanted to be a power forward and he had bad knees. You play Ralph at center and a young Akeem, who was still learning the game, at power forward, along with a sober supporting cast and they easily win at least 4 rings together. The real problem was taking Rodney Mac over Clyde in the draft. Ralph, Clyde, & Dream, healthy and with a decent supporting cast wins you more rings than Jordan ultimately won. We are talking at least 8 rings in my opinion.
