The Rockets should sign Mercer because he is not happy with Denver, read my other post if you haven't already. We should try and clear up some cap space to sign Mercer at the end of the year. Then with Olajuwon retiring at the end of next year and Don Maclean's contract expiring, we have a lot of good players that we could go after...

Gary Trent, Michael Finley, Nick Anderson, Chris Webber, Samaki Walker, Dikembe Mutombo, Jamal Mashburn, Doug Christie...

Take your pick, we can end up a contender as few as three years as long as Rudy keeps the main core and goes for a player that is a good post presence.

I think they should show up Saturday and kick-butt against Mercer's old team, with plenty of fast-break slamming, cause I got tickets,,,i'm taking my girl...and if she doesn't have fun she's going to think i'm even more of a geek for chatting here at the great clutchcity.net.

    After that, rinse and repeat.

We have no cap room. We won't be signing any free agents next off-season.
