If Battier retires, I would LOVE him as a defensive coordinator/ assistant coach.

Rather have Elie. Let's get someone from our championship teams to influence these guys.

Herb Williams? I don't know how to decide what coaches are available to be assistants. He has to be more competent than that Golden State Warriors assistant, although maybe he will sell us some information.

Yeah because Kevin McHale doesn't have any championships under his belt?

We need a Dwayne Casey type assistant.

i want Elie and have him in waiting when McFail falters again... Not enough pro coaching experience on our bench. JB Bickerstaff is daddy boy who got his job through his father's connection. I don't recognize anyone else who has the high level of pro coaching experience.

What ****ing difference does it make? I'm ****ing tired of people reminiscing about the good ole days. THOSE DAYS ARE GONE! Let's move on from 20+ year old championships.

I don't want any former players who are new to coaching. I want somebody with a lot of coaching experience.

He's a darn good assistant coach and he has the right personality for this team... with championship history and ties to this organization so why not? Rockets have moved on that's clear with all the decisions they made after those years and how many championships have they won? 0. If that's not moving on i don’t know what is. We will see what the rockets do.

The Rockets have won zero championships since then because they didn't have another Hakeem Olajuwon not because they didn't have a nostalgic assistant coach.

I'd rather have Jeff Van Gundy as a co-head coach and pay him the same as McHale.

Maybe we can get Marks Jackson after he gets fired?

    But more realistically:

Lawrence Frank is a strong possibility. Morey respects him a great deal and he was a finalist for the HC spot when it went to McHale. I'd like them to dump the entire staff personally.
