I really think Dejuan Watson is the franchise QB we've been looking for, but for some reason people don't see him at a top 5 pick. If drops between 5 and 10 will our 1st and 2nd round picks be enough to move up?

Heavy price, but I would do it if I thought I had a good shot at a decent free agent Offensive Tackle and I could get Watson. That's the only QB in this draft I would do it for.

Not nearly enough. There are a few value charts on this and value wise, the Texans would need to trade their entire class to equal the value of the 10th overall pick. Would also be looking at our 1st and 2nd this year and next years 1st to get to the 5th pick.

Believe actual past trades were much steeper than this.

The answer is that it is way the hell too expensive and there's no one even close to being worth trading up for that high in this draft.

The big thing I gather from this, is that Cleveland has been in the top 10 a TON. and for some reason they've continuosly traded out of it. *We've found our target team guys*

Value charts are often inaccurate and it would not take close to an entire class to move up 15 or so spots to #10. Going to #1 for a franchise QB is different and often irrational.

No QB in this draft worth trading up for.

Some people have him falling out of the first round. I find it doubtful, but I'm reading more scouts are rating him as second or third round talent, rather than first.

Yeah there's just no good QB's at the top of this draft class. Honestly no QB deserves to be drafted in the top 15-20, but we know that teams will reach anyway just like they do every year.

The only one I'd be willing to take that high would be Trubisky. He certainly has his concerns, though. I'd take him at like 10, and I believe that'd be fair value. Mahomes is good value at 25, though.

Not saying it would happen but it took the Falcons 5 picks to move up 20 spots, including two 1st rounders.

Trading into the Top 10 has proven to be really steep and most of the time it's just moving up a few spots.

Our GM and coach don't judge talent well enough to give up a bunch of picks for a QB. Either that, or nobody they get can look good in this offense. I'd sure hate to waste all our draft picks on some guy who could be another Johnny Manziel flash in the pan. There is a whole lot of luck on whether they shine in the NFL, so why give up on getting some more Offensive linemen, along with a couple quarterbacks and even a big cornerback or wide receiver to add to our mix. If Brock doesn't get any better then at least we will have money to work with to replace him if draft picks don't work out and a free agent becomes available next year.

DeShone Kizer is probably the "DeShaun/DeShone" that the Texans could target. QB out of Norte Dame.

Appers so. Looks like the Texans won't have to trade that high and if the Texans identify a qb I would be ok trading up a few spots. Not to the top 10 though

Draft 2 quarterbacks and see if one pans out. Don't give away picks to trade up. Nobody is a sure thing, and we could have just as much luck picking up two.
