IMO, it seems in many cases Faried cannot finish in traffic in the post. If only he focuses on improving this part of his offensive game, I can see him easily averaging 25+ ppg with Harden and CP3. His offensive rebounding ability was sorely missed by the Rockets, but I cringe every time I see him grab an offensive rebound in traffic and try to go up with it. I would rather have him throw it back out.

Unfortunately, I don't have videos to share to drive my point home, but for those that watch the games regularly, probably know what I mean.

Overall, I'm pretty happy he is with the Rockets.

If he was 6’ 10” Faried would be a max player.

That fact that 6'8" and lighter than Rudy Gay and James Harden tells you all you need to know. It's amazing that he can do what he does at all. If he could shoot the 3, he would be close to a max player.

I would have been nice if he had another inch of lift last night so he wouldn't have clanged that wide-open slam off the rim.

Hopefully it's due to dead legs from his increased playing time. It would suck if he actually has problems getting up there.

Defense, 3pt shot, finishing in traffic and allegedly a poor locker room presence in the past. There's a reason he was shelved by Denver, dumped on the Nets, bought out and then signed for the minimum. There are major flaws in his game.

But when you look at it in context - that he is a bench player at the minimum - you can see that he's a good signing and good rotation player. From the 5th to 8th rotation players, you will always get major flaws. The reward is in their few unique skills if they can exercise them.

I wonder if you can play both Fareid and Capela together when he gets back from injury, slide PJ to the 3 and bring Gordon off the bench again.

Shooting is overrated. Making is where it's at.

    Dunk everything

Play them like D12 & smoove.

    What's keeping him?

Missing easy bunny dunks. That's what.

Let’s start with 15 ppg and see how we go.

Seeing as how he's never scored more than 15ppg in the NBA, I'd have to say what's holding him back is a lack of 25ppg-scoring talent.

Need PJ in there for defensive purposes .. EGO would be the odd man out for me, or even Capela in late games since he's such a liability at the free throw line.

The team needs a backup interior defender. It’s a shame Tyson Chandler chose the Lakers. He would have been ideal. Robin Lopez might be a good fit too.

Also, we need wing who has size, plays good d, and can knock down the 3.

Those two pieces are absolutely crucial.

Faried cannot be on the floor with Capela. Faried should only be in at the 5 when the other team goes small.
When Clint is on the floor each of the other four guys need to be able to stretch the floor. Otherwise our offensive scheme falls apart.
