Well, when married, they were a useful means to avoid fornication at least.

    MadMax,

Thanks for the clarification earlier in the thread!

I realize it's slightly comedic in nature but I have to note that..

    1) Muslims distinguish between Jesus' teachings and the Bible as an average person would know it today.

    2) There are lots of things that are sins in Islam and not in Christianity and with good reason. For example, Muslims used to drink even during the Prophet PBUH's time right in front of him. It was not until the verse came down outlawing the drinking of alcohol that it became a sin for Muslims. The idea is that God proggressively outlawed more and more things starting with Abraham, then David, then Moses, then Jesus then Muhammad PBUT.

    3) For Muslims, all 5 sets (mentioned above) of teachings from those people have the same Director, Producer, everything... only distinction being the actors and the level of detail and depth in the script!

I am honestly having a hard time seeing how exactly you're disagreeing with what the piece states. It seems like you're giving examples of the revisions.

I can do Latin, though it would take forever to translate an old Roman Catholic Bible.
