James Harden hits that last foul shot and we go to overtime. But someone from the rotation suffers a season ending injury. Portland would trade that overtime win for a loss to have Nurk back right now. It's a blessing we got out of that game with our big three healthy. Go Rockets!
great thread. What if we had Capela in the game at the end instead of Tucker under the goal...and then thew that lob for a dunk and a win.
Satan didn't erupt from the bowels of the Earth and plunge our world into 10,000 years of darkness. See? It's a positive after all!
Who cares about last night? There are valid arguments for rather facing GS in the 2nd round instead of the WCF. At the end of the day, the West goes through them. Rockets could’ve finished with the 2, 3, or 4 seed, and I would’ve been cool with it all the most important thing was HCA against GS, and we fcked that up a long time ago...we don’t need HCA against any other team in the West except for them
I'm on the East coast. The games start at balls'o'clock for me. I have a new baby. My sleep is extremely limited and precious. I chose to stay up to watch last night's game. Not only did I waste that time, but it left me with such a fuming anger hangover I wasn't able to get to bed at all. Then Portland happened and I almost thought I was having a god damned fever dream nightmare. This team owes me a championship, babysitting services, and a therapist.
rockets is know for complacency and playing down to the competition, do you trust them not to drop a series vs a lesser opponent after beating gsw in the 2nd round?
What if.....PJ decided to play D on that last shot and was standing next to PG stopping that pass? Discipline is what is lacking, discipline and focus has been all year. DD
Call me crazy but I'd rather beat GSW in round 2 then face DEN/POR after surviving that series over beating GSW in the WCF and have to recover on the fly against MIL.
no, unless an injury takes place just because they played down to the level of some average-scrub teams during the regular season doesn’t mean they’ll be complacent in the WCF with a chance to reach the finals
Because the Rockets choked game after game all season, they were forced to go all out with no rest until the 82nd game of the year to lock up seeding only to choke one more game... Amazing
What if EGo was having just a little more FUN in the 2nd half and didn't have costly turnovers and didn't miss wide open shots
What if Portland or Denver lose tonight? What if the Bucks beat OKC? What if all the panic is for nothing? What if............
