It was his 45th career game. It didn't even happen his first season.

Drew Brees is a pretty good QB and even his teams aren't good because of their D. A superstar like Lebron can single handily take his team to the playoffs. I think a NBA Superstar > QB.

Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, John Elway, to name a few.

Most of these teams either will or already did fall into obscurity once they left their respective teams.

QB is everything and if you have a good one, cool... but if you manage to get a hold of a great one you better never let that sh** go cause you never know what you're gonna get next.

This and when Arian Foster started for the first time against the Pats at the end of the 2009 season.

Similar to Olajuwon, LeBron dominates on both ends.

Drew also has a championship and SB MVP.

Saints still manage a .500 record every season, in one of the tougher divisions, despite having the worst defenses in league history.

That game was sick. Many will think of the Colts thrashing to kickoff the 2010 season, but that Pats game is really what started it.

Side note - that 2010 season was such a disappointment in hindsight. Destroying Manning week 1, then having a huge comeback win against the Redskins in week 2... I remember we were #1 in the power rankings after week 2. Finished 6-10 :(

You are seriously overvaluing a single perimeter players impact on defense. It's minuscule compared to the other side of the court.

Good game, but hard to consider it a breakout performance when we all wanted to draft a RB a month later, and were expecting Tate to be our top back after the draft.

Right, but my point was that:

    NBA Superstar > QB

Is not a given as Air Langhi was pointing out. Also like a NFL QB the best of the best will often still need other Superstars to compete. You saw how far Lebron got without other stars around him in his original Cleveland stint.

With those type of QBs, sometimes you can do it with a bunch of nobodies ala Tom Brady 2001 championship team.

    Wide Receivers
Again this is depending on the QB we're talking about.

Ken Caminiti tripled, homered and had a couple of outstanding defensive plays in his first game.

Then how about when he ran all over the Colts in the first game of that following season for our first(?) win over Peyton Manning.
