I like it when the crowd shows energy.

Of course being there with taller people standing in front of you and watching is different.

I thought the crowd noise was ok, I’d give it a 6/10.

it wasn’t anything close to deafening, but it did get loud at times (mostly after Harden hit a stepback three)...Harden stepback threes are when the crowd would erupt, and the crowd was into it in the 4th

I felt like people wanted to get loud, but the Rockets just couldn’t make shots and weren’t able to go on any big runs for large portions of the game...our biggest lead of the game was only 11

what was disappointing was the many people in the lower bowl heading out with 2 minutes left in the game

Personally, the best crowd was Game 7 vs the Clippers. That crowd was unreal.

if we can keep getting this crowd, the ceiling is the roof.

Yeah I was there... you felt the energy in that damn place. Seriously, it was World Series Game 5 vibes.

They need to allow bidding on flash seats. Houston is a bad basketball town. Don't make it worse by getting rid of the cheap seats.

I'm sorry, but the bay is loaded with fake fans. I get that it's frustrating seeing open seats on tv for rockets games, but please never aspire to be like the bay. They aren't fans, they are assholes with nothing better to do so they go to a game.

Well that was also Game 7 of the 2nd round following one of the greatest comebacks in franchise(and league) history. I'm not gonna get on the fans for being a little more rowdy at that one than Game 1 of the first round vs the T'Wolves.

Context matters. I was at Game 7 at the Summit vs Phoenix in 1994 and that crowd was insane. In Game 1 of that very same series, the arena wasn't even sold out and NBC nearly blacked out the broadcast locally as a result. Fan intensity had obviously ramped up since it was an elimination game and it was after the whole Choke City/Clutch City episode.

I was at game 1 and was pretty loud in a quiet section (upper sideline - center).

I was at game 1 and there were 4 empty seats to my right and 2 empty in front.

    Upper section.

I think the flash seats limitations are causing this.

I paid for near floor seats for game 6 of the second round last year.. I went all out with gear & all, and the rockets didn’t. I will not be paying for a ticket unless we make the finals.

The fans deserve just as much blame as the team for that loss.

The atmosphere was terrible. The arena was half empty and quiet from the start. It was like watching a preseason game.

I sold my ticket doe the Phoenix game on Good Friday for $60.

Tickets for game 1 were also going for $60.

    Weird.

The game started off pretty decently, wasn’t like it was dead, but after that, the fans had nothing to cheer for. We’ve had more energy on the floor in the preseason game.

The crowd looks fierce tonight and in their seats before tipoff. Where are the Toyota Center crowd haters? WHERE ARE YOU LOSERS?
