The Rockets had their pick of free agents. Joe wasn't at the top of the list.

Hindsight is 20/20. Count me in as one of the "JJo believers." He was serviceable while he was in Utah, and with Harden/CP3 here (so defenses don't have to focus on JJo), it was hard to believe that JJo would be as bad as he was, last year.

I expect the rockets to use melo exactly how they tried to use JJ. When he had a mismatch in the post the Rockets threw him the ball. Once a double team came he passed out of it. The issue was that JJ wasn’t a threat in the post anymore bc he was so out of shape. He had no way to get his own shot. Hopefully melo is different. Hopefully he can get his own shot and knows when to pass out of the double.

Dude who runs the account is one of the two on the left. Sdot1414, who he tagged, is Shaun Livingston. Got no idea where the 'I look like Shaun Livingston' thing came from. Bizarre.

I would pick Harford, zach Randolph, nick young, robin hood and dwade. Joe is too slow.

I was hopeful that he would contribute last year. Sad way for him to go out. He always looked like he was about to do something, but his shots kept missing.

Joe is a consummate professional. I hope he retires a Rocket ... already.

Lol if you listened to any Utah people they said he was a great locker room guy but the joe of old was gone. Their numbers with him on the court defensively were worse too. I’m not mad at the signing worth the risk.. but if you think he’s not washed then idk what to tell you
